Description

Hey everybody,

Thanks for the great turnout last week, I thought that was an excellent discussion of a difficult subject.

This week I wanted to take a look at the work of a philosopher who is alive and active. I came upon Agnes Callard, a professor of Philosophy at the University of Chicago. She describes herself as a “public philosopher.” Hopefully based on this short essay she wrote evaluating the moral and practical status of plagiarism we could explore the role of academic philosophy in modern life.

I hope you will join us at noon on Wednesday in the UMBC PhilAnon Discord.

Let me know if you need any assistance accessing the article or Discord server.

Best,

-Quinlan Murphy
