Hey everybody!
I know the end of the semester is fast approaching and everybody is feeling a little over programmed but we are going to have two more PhilAnon meetings!
In the past, one meeting was usually geared toward a film or other artistic work and I thought we'd do something similar this week. In the last year or so, many art museums have greatly enhanced and expanded the availability of their collections for browsing on the internet; one of the few boons of 2020-21. Accordingly, this week we're asking participants to choose one work (or more) from a museum's online collection (have the url handy at the meeting) and just think about why you like it or what you think it says. We might also briefly discuss the aesthetic and philosophical implications of the rise of non fungible tokens.
